Careers at Parkvets

Join Parkvets

Want to enhance the quality of life for pets and owners?

Our teams of vets and nurses are all specially selected not only for their exceptional veterinary skills and knowledge, but also for their compassion and people skills.

Night Veterinary Surgeon – Parkvets Hospital

Due to the continued expansion of our out-of-hours service, we are looking for two experienced night vets.  You will work 7 nights on and have 7 days off, and you will be supported by second on call vet, an experienced nurse and 2 veterinary care assistants.  The remuneration package is very attractive and can include accommodation if required.

If you would like to express an interest in joining the team, please send your CV and letter to

Night Veterinary Nurse

As part of the ongoing expansion of our out-of-hours service Parkvets is looking for 2 experienced nurses to work alongside the night vets on a 7 on 7 off rota pattern.  You will need to be confident in emergency critical care as well as being a compassionate communicator.  Accommodation is available and the package is commensurate with the nature of the role.

Please email a copy of your C.V and a covering letter to

Junior Laboratory Technician

We have a rare opportunity for a science graduate to join our busy pathology laboratory team. Your degree will ideally be in Biomedical Sciences or a related subject, whilst your interests will include animals and a strong desire to ‘make a difference’.

Our laboratory analyses hundreds of pathological specimens from our hospital inpatients and our many outpatients and works with some of the best labs in the country when external input is needed. Supported by an experienced team you will be involved in a variety of areas of pathology, with the emphasis mainly on Biochemistry and Haematology.

The work can be challenging and busy but is interesting and very rewarding. You would be directly communicating with vets, nurses and external laboratories. There is minimal patient contact as the lab is a separate area away from clinical areas.

This full time role, based at our Sidcup hospital, will include some weekend and bank holiday hours so a flexible approach is important to us.  In return there will be the opportunity for ongoing learning and development as well as a competitive salary and benefits package.

If you would like to discuss this position in further detail please send your CV and letter of application to .
