Registered Veterinary Nurse

We are an independent, well equipped Tier 3 hospital, with an exciting opportunity for a confident and enthusiastic Registered Veterinary Nurse.

Working as part of the 24 strong team of vets and 38 registered veterinary nurses and VCA’s, you will receive fantastic support and opportunities to use your skills and experience to help us deliver our gold standard care.

Full time and part time positions available, hours to be agreed, with 1 weekend in 4 (time given back in lieu). CPD is actively encouraged and funded, we offer 20 days holiday pro rata and a competitive salary – dependent on experience.

Junior Veterinary Surgeon

Parkvets is the perfect practice if you are an ambitious, motivated and positive vet looking for the next step in your career.

Our Junior Vets are actively supported by dedicated mentors and coaches, whilst also being routinely surrounded by the expertise and experience of 16 more senior vets.  As well as offering generous CPD benefits, the practice hosts regular in-house training sessions and encourages case collaboration and support.  There is also financial support for those vets wanting to complete a Certificate and the team spirit to support vets through the hard work involved.

Our Junior Vets spend time in all areas of the practice across a 6 week rota pattern based on an average of 42.5 hours per week.  Shifts over the 6 weeks include a 4 night block, duty vet shifts at the hospital looking after in-patients, branch consulting and hospital consulting.  They manage their own caseload, are encouraged to work up cases, are expected to do imaging and surgery and are very much pro-active members of the vet team.

Whilst all our vets work hard there is also an active Parkvets social life which new team members can get involved in.

If you want to experience the diversity of working for a large practice which has all the equipment and facilities you would expect, and which refers very few cases, allowing you the clinical freedom to manage them yourself, then please send your CV to
