As a Fellow of the CIPD, Diane Heron brings her experience of people management and a customer service background to the practice. She is responsible for the client experience, as well as the commercial aspects of running a business. As an owner of two mad spaniels, Diane is passionate about making a positive difference to our clients, whilst delivering exceptional clinical care for our patients.
As the very heart of the practice our RCVS accredited Sidcup head office provides the clinical facilities for all our clinic vets and for the hospital team.
With its extensive facilities, equipment, in-patient wards and laboratory, the hospital is home to nine veterinary surgeons, the 24HourVet team, 35 nurses and a host of administrative support staff, all working hard to provide the absolute best in patient care. It’s quite a team!
Working in our Client Care team is not for the faint hearted as our 25 receptionists and telephonists are expected to do what it takes to make our clients’ lives that bit easier. Team Leaders Linda and Tracey have been part of the Parkvets practice for many years and know just how complex this can be, but their training and development program has allowed them to nurture a service ethos and build a truly exceptional team.
Vets make decisions every day based on the results of diagnostic tests, so the speed, accuracy and reliability of the interpretation of these results are vital to our patients’ welfare.
That is why Parkvets has invested significantly in equipment and chooses to staff the lab with professional bio-medical scientists. Sylvia Woodward heads up the team and is supported by Gwyneth Watkinson and Patricia Fulton. They all come to us with an NHS pedigree and many years of experience.
Veterinary Nursing Manager, Charlotte Marshall brings years of experience to the job, managing a team of 21 qualified nurses, 6 student nurses and 8 veterinary care assistants.
Charlotte ensures that the team has all the skills, knowledge, energy, dedication and support they need to work with a demanding team of vets, whilst still keeping the welfare of their patients as top priority.
The Admin team
Because we process hundreds of insurance claim forms each week we have a dedicated team of people who work hard to submit each claim within 5 working days of receipt. And our accounts team are here to deal with any financial queries you may have.
Sticklers for detail, Julia, Mark, Laurren, Ann, Joyce, Nicole, Carol and Helen also look after the administration of our growing pet health care club ensuring that details are up to date and that our members get the benefits they have paid for.
