Night Nurse – Parkvets Hospital

We are looking for an experienced RVN to join our busy and dedicated team.  The successful applicant will be a great team player, but will be very comfortable as the lead nurse on duty through the night. Parkvets enjoys a strong team culture so your ability to provide strong handovers, create and communicate clear clinical plans and deliver exceptional patient care will form the basis of your success here.

We have all the toys and tools needed to provide the very best in patient care and we are extremely supportive of development into new areas and techniques.

Working a 42 hour week on a 7 nights on, 7 nights off rota you will be supporting one night vet, with the assistance of 2 VCAs, as you manage emergency calls and care for in-patients.

Salary is negotiable depending on experience, level of qualification and areas if interest.

Veterinary Surgeon

Parkvets is looking for a confident communicator with a pro-active approach to veterinary medicine and a desire to deliver exceptional customer care.

You will have 1-5 years of experience behind you so that you can take an active role in our strong, diverse and supportive team, working across all sites and shifts.

Diagnostics are an important part of our work and you will be encouraged to work up cases to the best of your ability before referring them internally if needed.

Parkvets actively supports the development of skills and knowledge through a CPD allowance and additional time off.  Vets wanting to undertake a certificate will be given greater financial support and time.

Parkvets has all the equipment you would expect of a hospital along with separate cat and dog wards, 3 theatres, 2 dental suites, 2 imaging areas and a visiting MRI.

You will work every other weekend and be part of our second on call rota OOH.

Client Care Assistant

Parkvets is on the lookout for confident and customer focused candidates to join our Client Care team.

The role is as diverse as it is satisfying, putting you at the heart of the practice, whilst you make a real difference to our clients’ experiences.

Whether you are on the phone or on the front desk, your communication and organisational skills will help you to manage a busy workload, and your warmth and empathy will help you to bond with clients and their pets.
